Bio

Pablo Soldati earned the M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Siena, Italy, in 2004, and from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden, in 2010, respectively. He held postdoctoral research position at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and visiting postdoctoral at Stanford University in 2010/11. In June 2011 he joined Huawei Technologies Sweden AB as Senior Researcher for advanced radio transmission technology and standards, and regularly participated as Huawei's delegate to 3GPP RAN1 meetings for LTE-A standardization. Currently he is a Principal Researcher with the System Algorithms group at Huawei Technologies Sweden AB working on advanced radio resource management algorithms for 5G mobile broadband systems.

His research interests are in machine learning and optimization with application to wireless networking, design of PHY and MAC layers, radio resource management, and MIMO systems.
